Bridlington Business Forum

Bridlington Business Forum meets monthly, bringing together a range of local business people from the town's key employment sectors - including retail, tourism, leisure, services (banking, estate agency, etc) and independent business.  The Business Forum works collectively to help Bridlington's economy grow and bring more and better business into the area.

The aims of the group are to:

  • Engage more businesses in the local regeneration programme;
  • Work together to grow the local economy;
  • Create local employment and improve skills of the local workforce;
  • Encourage enterprise in schools and colleges, and develop strong links with business;
  • Support the promotion of the Yorkshire Coast as a destination;
  • Take an active role in York & North Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership, and particularly the Growth Plan for the Coast;
  • Actively promote Bridlington to attract businesses to the area;
  • Respond to the needs of local businesses and promote solutions for business support;
  • Ensure that activities and progress are communicated effectively.
